The other thing i was going to mention is that all the functionalities of the surface pen work with the Bamboo INK. ![]() Maybe thats because i have a plastic like screen protector on my spectre, but either way it feels awesome when writing. The Bamboo INK nibs are phenomenal, and have a very similar feel to that of a surface pen. Now I can use the button button as an eraser and the top button as a right click select on my Bamboo INK! Wacom support instructed me of the solution of holding down both of the stylus side buttons for two seconds to switch between modes of compatibility ('Wacom AES mode' indicated by one blink of a blue LED light behind the two side buttons, and 'Microsoft Pen Protocol' indicated by two blinks). Within that software I reversed the default settings, which actually switched the positions of the side buttons to the orientation that I prefer. Then i remembered that HP has its own pen control software called "HP pen control". ![]() After I received the pen i realized that it seemed to be impossible to remap the side buttons to the spectre x360 default pen settings where the eraser is near the nib and the right click/select is the button above it.Īfter several hours of fooling around and trying out various forms of software and drivers, i realized that it may not be possible to do so on this machine. ![]() I recently purchased the bamboo ink as I wanted the feel of the surface pen without the price tag.
